Languages: German German, English English, French French, Italian Italian,

I'm a licensed tour guide for Vicenza, Bassano del Grappa and surroundings as well as for the Venetian Villas and work as a translator as well. After my studies in Germany (M.A., German and English Literature) and several years of freelance activity I moved back to Italy.

I love writing and photography. My dream? Writing a travel book containing my own shots. I also like hiking in the mountains near Vicenza -  I need the fresh air, nature and the beautiful landscapes for my wellbeing. And besides, once you've reached 2000 metere a.s.l. you can think much clearer, don't you think?

During my years abroad I have developped a passion for foreign languages and I'm always glad to meet people from countries all over the world to show them my beloved towns Vicenza and Bassano, pearls in the heart of Veneto, which offer so much architecture, art and history away from mass tourism, much appreciated by visitors preferring to  individual travelling and original destinations.

The famous architect Andrea Palladio worked in Vicenza and gave a new imprint to the town, but Vicenza and its surroundings have much to offer beside Palladio and his masterworks : hills, more buindings, churches, hidden corners in the historical town centre to be enjoyed; and wonderful places like Bassano del Grappa, Marostica, Thiene, Schio; Palladio's Villas all over the region.  There is so much to be tasted as well! Wine, organic olive oil from the Berici hills, delicious food. One more hint for book lovers like me:  Vicenza has a remarkable literary tradition and furthermore, we can be proud of several contemporary authors who were born and live here and write about our places.
Let Vicenza and its region delight you. I'm looking forward to guiding you around!
